ABOUT
Natalie Martell is Minneapolis-based writer. She is at work on a novel for teen readers called An Impossible Blooming. Since earning her MFA from Minnesota State University, Mankato, she has received creative support grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council. Her writing has appeared in Cream City Review, THRUSH, Tupelo Quarterly, The Journal, Salt Hill, and SWWIM, and elsewhere. Natalie is the Arts Manager for Cow Tipping Press and has led writing courses for teens and adults through The Loft Literary Center. She loves reading all different genres and styles of books, exploring the Minnesota wilderness, and playing music.
Natalie Martell is a 2026 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
